Pet owners and care providers require a centralized system to handle pet boarding bookings, grooming appointments, adoption requests, and merchandise sales without relying on disconnected tools.
Design and develop a unified full-stack application with user authentication, administrative dashboard management, boarding availability checking, monthly payment workflows, Cloudinary media hosting, and email notifications.
Implemented using Next.js 16 App Router, React 19, and TypeScript, backed by Prisma ORM connecting to MongoDB. Integrated Cloudinary for document and image uploads, Resend API for customer and admin email delivery, NextAuth with bcrypt for secure authentication, and Radix UI with Tailwind CSS for component styling.
Delivered a feature-complete web platform supporting automated sitemap builds, dynamic PDF generation for invoices, multi-tier boarding options, adoption request moderation, and admin analytics dashboards.
Comprehensive Pet Care Ecosystem
Pawtopia integrates pet boarding reservations, grooming services, e-commerce orders, pet adoption listings, and user wallet transactions into a seamless web platform. Built with Next.js 16 and MongoDB via Prisma, the platform connects pet owners with administrator operations in real time.
Boarding & Grooming Management: Custom reservation engine supporting short-term, long-term, and day-care boarding with package add-ons, availability verification, monthly payment tracking, and payslip upload verification.
E-Commerce & Digital Wallet: Full shopping catalog with categories, cart management, and order fulfillment alongside a user loyalty wallet system supporting points earned, spent, and admin-approved top-ups.
Making Of
Architected with Next.js App Router and React 19 for modular component isolation. Prisma ORM interfaces directly with MongoDB Atlas to model complex relationships across pets, breeds, boarding add-ons, and video content. Cloudinary handles image management, while Resend powers email notifications and NextAuth manages secure user session persistence.
